1. Upon arrival at your room, you’ll simply dial our MobileKey 866 phone number (it will be provided to you via SMS/e-mail and will be posted all over the hotel).

2. When you are validated, you will hear an audible key (listen for the “turkey gobble” on the video below).

3. Hold your phone close to the CAC module on the top of the lock, and if your key is valid for that room at that time, the lock will open… simple as that!

Cinemagic will be screening "Bus 174" a Brazilian documentary film about a bus hijacking that occurred in Rio de Janeiro by a young man from a poor background, bungled a robbery and ended up holding the passengers on a bus hostage for four hours.. Mark Malkoff's apartment is getting fumigated. He can't stay with friends in their tiny studio apartments, He doesn't want to stay in a hotel either because they are insanely expensive. Which will leave him with only few living options.
So Mark thought he should move into an IKEA store where he'd live and sleep for a whole week. the weird thing is they actually agreed! LOOL

Mark moved in on Monday the 7th of January and will stay for the week through Saturday the 12th. He's now living in IKEA (Paramus, New Jersey) 24/7 and eating all his meals in the restaurant. This guy is crazy!! i love him!

On June 2007 Mark also managed to visit every Starbucks in Manhattan a total of 171 stores in one day!!! that's about a store every seven minutes!!

According to DigiTimes, Apple has ordered 13.3″ backlit display components from a company called Nano-Op, which would be used in a newer smaller MacBook.You can probably expect the Ultraportable MacBook to not only have a smaller display, but it will probably be substantially slimmer than its full size MacBook counterpart. My friend just told me that a new kinder is born!! and it's available in Ba7rain...

Kinder Joy egg was reasles during the summer in Europe. Though the toys are the same as the ones used in Kinder Surprise eggs, the Kinder Joy eggs are very different. The cover of the egg is plastic, and to open it you pull the tabs to split it in half. One half of the egg has the toy, and the other half has a hazelnut cream with two crunchy chocolate balls in it by ferrero.

After reading EXzombiesm's post about Project Turtles i decided to go, so i called my friend and asked her if she's up to it, her reply was very motivating and she kept sending out msgs to everyone encouraging them to volunteer, which got me even more excited about the whole idea of doing something 7ag LKUWAIT ;** and keeping it clean...So i wake up Saturday morning after a really long night oo ayer nafse yar men ilfrash oo i call my friend to make sure that she's awake ba3ad! oo a7en about not being late ;p il mohem before going i check the post one last time to make sure that we're heading to the right place ;p oo fajaa e6e7 3ainee 3al date ;p wela it says Saturday the 24th of November ;p oo it was the 17th a week earlier ;p 7amdelah wel sheker ;p o i never make these kind of mistakes ;/ bas men zod il sha6a ;p anyway i had to make it up to her so i told to come over o 7a6etlaha ryoog qawe o frash o kamlat il noma ;p

il mohem on Saturday the 24th agoom again oo aro7 Sha6e' Shwaikh...

Arrived at 10 am sharp oo everybody was there and ready...

After a short welcome speech they started passing out gloves and plastic bags...

People immediately began spreading everywhere!

Today, November 21st Cinemagic will be screening "A Voice Like Egypt" a doucumentry highlighting the life of the famous Egyptian singer Umm Kalthoum. The event will take place at the Cinemagic Rooftop Venue above LG Electronics, Old Salmiya, and will run between 7:00 p.m – 9:30 p.m.

On Thursday, November 22nd They will be screening "Nine Lives" an independent film by Rodrigo García who takes an unusual look into the lives of nine different women in this episodic drama. Each of the film's nine sequences has been staged as a single shot, using the Steadicam system to allow the camera to follow the action fluidly and without cuts. The event will also be at the Cinemagic Rooftop at 7:00 p.m.

Cinemagic Kuwait, says that it's organizing these events as part of its efforts to contribute to the development of an internationally competitive Kuwaiti audio-visual production industry, partly by bringing the filmmakers and audiences together and by Increasing the public's interest in – and appreciation for – the art of filmmaking.

Today was the premier of "SHARQ" a Kuwaiti movie about six friends -ages between 9 to 14- who go on the journey of a lifetime looking for the world's strongest football, heading to the one and only place that is guaranteed to have it "SHARQ". To them its a wonderland, Sharq Street in Kuwait City is filled with anything that you can imagine, countless blocks of toy makers and toy stores! The journey starts when these six boys start heading away from the deserts of their familiar Bedouin town towards the city of modern Kuwait "in their perspective". The movie was simple, funny and very entertaining. I have to say that Bader Al-Shuiby's performance was remarkably outstanding. I would give it a ten out of ten if it wasn't for the terribly bad low sound volume. Other than that and the 2 very very very annoying guys behind us who couldn't stop taking and making those ridiculously stupid comments i would say it was a perfect evening.

The crew managed to create ways so that we don't notice her pregnancy in the episodes, by having constant close-up shots of her face or by putting items in front of her in many scenes.

Jaxtr is a web based service that allows people to call you or leave a Jaxtr-voice mail message for you. The phone numbers of all parties are hidden (if it is so desired) which is probably number one on most people's list of concerns.

The sign-up process was simple amazingly simple and straight forward. Submit some personal info and provide my phone number. I then received a test call and was prompted to enter my confirmation code. The options for incoming calls are few. Send all calls to voice mail or send all calls to my phone and the option of "Privacy Shield" which sends all calls to Jaxtr voice mail until I mark those callers as "allowed". Once I promote a caller to "allowed " status, they can go directly to my phone. Callers can also be marked as "blocked" and no further calls will be received from them. All received calls even international are charged as local .

I personally find it a great service idea, but i haven't used it publicly yet. [link]
